The Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED) expresses its profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; and to the brothers and sisters of the negotiating delegation of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Climate Change Convention, following the tragic deaths resulting from the crash of the Aramco helicopter.

As RAED shares with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this grave loss, it extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to all members of the Kingdom’s delegation to the Climate Change Convention. RAED prays to Almighty God to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, grant them the highest place in Paradise, inspire their families with patience and solace, and protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people from all harm and misfortune.

Dr. Emad El-Din Adly, General Coordinator of the Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED), affirmed that this painful incident represents a deeply tragic humanitarian disaster and a profound loss, not only for the families and loved ones of the victims, but for the entire Arab family. He stressed that RAED, with all its members and partners, stands in full solidarity with its brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of this painful tragedy.

RAED further emphasizes that Arab and humanitarian solidarity in times of adversity and disaster is a deeply rooted value and a fundamental pillar for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, unity, and mutual support among Arab peoples.

RAED concluded its statement by praying for mercy and forgiveness for the victims, patience and solace for their families, and continued security, stability, and safety for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people. RAED asks Almighty God to protect the Kingdom from all harm and to perpetuate the blessings of security and peace upon it.
