Since solid waste management is a major issue in the southern area of the Mediterranean, the projects board prepared studies and researches, by choosing areas that are not on the priority list and does not have a garbage collection system.
Implementing workshops and training to the people of each area to understand the concepts of solid waste management and how to handle it correctly and safely.

•Training for 2 from every association of the participating countries for understanding communication, dialogue and the main reasons behind solid wastes and learning how to manage them technically and financially from the European partner in the project and local expertise.
