Raed is a founding member of Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture, and Sustainable Development MIO/ECSDE. And contributed to partnership with him in many public activities
Such as the publication of Water in the Mediterranean book in 2004, and food in Mediterranean book 2007.
In partnership with RAED, MIO organized its General Assembly meetings in November 2009, and December 2010 in Cairo. The 2009 meeting was accompanied by another extensive meeting to study the environmental problems in the Mediterranean.
Also Iit should be noted that a number of RAED members from the Arab Mediterranean countries are members of MIO.
