A workshop on “The Arab Initiative for Sustainable Development”

RAED conducted a consultative workshop for civil society organizations on the “Arab Initiative for Sustainable Development” in Algeria on 17th and 18th of December 2006. The workshop aimed to raise awareness on methods of measuring the concept of poverty, indicators, causes, patterns and its relation with the environment.

Development of the civil society studies to propose the topics to the Arab Council of Ministers such as trade and environment, following up the implementation of the Arab initiative for sustainable development, implementing ways of contributing civil societies to the destruction of the Zionist occupation in Palestine and Lebanon and the American invasion in Iraq and Increase awareness of the New Horizon 2020 Initiative.
