Evaluating the competition policies and consumer protection

RAED implemented a study to evaluate the current situation of competition policies and consumer protection in cooperation with the Centre of Competition, Investment and Economic Regulation (CUTS C-CIER) in seven Arab countries in the middle east and north africa (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria andTunisia) .

The study aimed to analyze the challenge between the participating countries and and explore new strategies to re-build the competition’s organizational structure  by the participation of the main stakeholders.

Personal interviews with personnel who are concerned with consumer issues, competition laws and consumer protection from ministries, price control organization and consumer protection associations.
